I can't recall right now which was done first. My problem right now is that I can set the history on Firefox to any number of days, but it clears each time I close the browser. I have checked in tools not to do that. I have set the number of days to 7. I increased the offline cache to 79MB on advice from a friend. All to no avail. It remembers all the site visited during the time the browser is open, however it clears them all once closed.
