Aha! So that is why I wouldn’t be able to see any history of the websites my younger brother visit because this is the way he did it.. Hmmm, now I know how to open it, thanks for the post!!!

As stated in your excellent “Web Browser History” article, there are multiple reasons for clearing the browser cache from time to time and the method you have provided works perfectly. Some people may even want to go a step further to protect their privacy in Firefox by disabling the Smart Location Bar. This is done using the about:config command to set the value of “browser.urlbar.maxRichResults” to 0. On a related note, the new “Private Browsing Mode” found under the Tools menu is also worth mentioning. When using this mode, Firefox will not retain visited pages, cookies, etc.
